Level Control valves

 Level Control Valves are patented by Calzoni Hydro. They are used as elements for pressure disconnection along penstocks of remarkable length in order to regulate the flow in the upstream penstock and to control the level of downstream disconnecting pools.

These features provide the opportunity to have reliable operations with reduced effort and maximum sensitivity, no leakages  and easy maintenance. 

Operational characteristics: 

The valve is activated by a floater which is located in the well. 
When the liquid level changes,  the floater controls the cylindrical shutted with an operating rod which slides on the body.

The shutter, which is placed in a vertical position at the penstock downstream end allows to shut off the outlet opening.
When it is necessary to limit low transient overpressure, hydraulic brakes are provided if requested.
